Ihor Kurok was born in France during the Second World War, the son of Ukrainian immigrant parents. Ihor’s father – Ivan, was a celebrated sculptor, covering many styles. Ihor was highly touted footballer, who immigarated to Canada to pursue his career.
He paints in mostly oils, in styles ranging from surrealism, portraiture, miniaures to his own style of one piece hand crafted frames/paintings. He has had exhibitions in France, Spain, Ukraine, Mexico, U.S.A and Canada.
