Exhibits Requirements

UCAF Gallery accepts exhibition proposals in the following categories: painting, drawing, printmaking, sculpture, fiber art, mixed media and photography.

UCAF Gallery exhibits all genres (landscape, still life, portrait, etc.) and styles of art – from figurative to abstract.

REQUIREMENTS FOR PORTFOLIO REVIEW

Please submit the following via either email (jpg), CD, or hard-copy print (NB – actual artwork will not be accepted)

10 images of 10 current pieces of work, indicative of the proposed exhibition. Each image must be labelled with the artist’s name, title of work, date of execution, size, medium.
An identification sheet with a list of the works submitted with all pertinent information included as above.

The Exhibition Committee reviews portfolios three (3) times a year: February, June and October. Your portfolio must be received in the first week of the month in order to be included in that month’s review. If your portfolio is submitted after the first week of the review month, it will be included in the next scheduled review. UCAF  does not guarantee exhibits for all submissions received. After the review, approved portfolios are placed in our Active File from which UCAF curates all regular exhibitions. The gallery will notify the artists promptly about the status of their submissions.

UCAF Gallery’s mission is to expose our community to contemporary visual art. UCAF Gallery has a solid 40-year history of supporting emerging and established visual artists. Over the years, UCAF Gallery has educated and enlightened viewers of all ages and backgrounds by offering them events and workshops related to the exhibits.
